Many people love games and are playing them. In 2020 ,the game sales increased by 27%. The data for games changes and depends on the months and various estimates. The game sales were about $57 billion in 2020 according to some estimates in the United States. Depending on which month and period the numbers do change. Some games as Call of Duty: Black Ops: Cold War by Activision Blizzard had a new release in 2020 and sales were growing from the previous year. 

In December 2020 alone, the gaming sales reached a record $7.7 billion in the United States. In fact, it was even more than in January 2021 when video games sales were at $4.7 billion in US. Activision Blizzard, Nintendo, Sony, Ubisoft, Electronic Arts are all present in the market which is growing in double digits year after year.
